Pont Aven

Pont Aven is a quaint little town in southern Brittany, some 14km east of Concarneau.

With its many watermills, Port Aven was a favourite of gauging who painted here in the 1880s before moving to Tahiti.

Pont Aven is approx 3 miles away and has a large supermarket. Pont Aven one of the most picturesque places in France. It was made famous by the painter Gauguin who set up a painting school here. It is set on the river Aven and full of galleries, shops, cafes, restaurants, and riverside eating places. You can take a boat ride on the river or spend time in the many art galleries and museums. It is also famous for its biscuits! The Hotel Des Mimosas serves the most wonderful seafood platter which you can enjoy as you watch the boats come in and out (the fillet steak is worth a mention too).

Our privately owned 6 berth mobile home is situated in Southern Brittany on the Haven run site of Domaine de Kerlann near the picturesque port of Pont Aven. The site was given four stars by the French regulating body and consists of rented Haven homes with a select number of private mobile homes. All holiday home guests are able to enjoy the site's many facilities (subject to the purchase of fun passes). These include access to the large indoor heated swimming pool and the two outdoor pools. Pools are fully supervised by lifeguards.
