Situated right in the heart of Paris, this formal french garden dates back to the 17th century by the royal gardener Le Notre, and occupies an area of 25 hectares, between the Carrousel du Louvre and the place de la Concorde, the rue de Rivoli and the banks of the Seine.

The sweeping central avenue is bordered by flower beds and topiary. If you get the chance to visit in the summer season, be sure to ride on the big wheel that is present as part of a fun-fair that stays in the garden from 21st June until 25th August every year. The fabulous views from the bug whell are not to be missed.
