Conil de la Frontera

This former fishing village is busier and more built up than its neighbouring towns, Conil de la Frontera has two beaches - Playa Fuente del Gallo and Playa los Bateles.

Playa los Bateles is the longest and the most popular with tourists. Primarily a holiday resort, It is a typical Andalucian town with narrow cobbled streets and an open air market at weekends. There is no shortage of places to eat with an array of restaurants and pavement cafes around the main plazas. El Palmar beach is good for campsites and reasonable accommodation.
