Los Alcazares is located next to the shores of the Mar Menor,a a naturally formed, saltwater lagoon separated from the Mediterranean Sea by a 22 kilometre long strip of land called La Manga, and is about 10 minutes from the nearest airport of San Javier/Murciait. Offering seven kilometres of coastline from Los Narejos to Punta Brava. Los Alcazares, (pronounced 'los-alcatha-res') is an old fishing and saltwater spa town and has beautiful, clean beaches which are long and sandy.

The Mar Menor has warm, calm, shallow waters and is popular for bathing and water sports, as well as for the more adventurous to use the therapeutic mud! Temperatures at the Mar Menor are always 3-4 degrees warmer than the Mediterranean, and all the beaches here are ideal for families and are connected by a magnificent promenade.

Located in Spain's Murcia region - (also known as the Costa Calida or hot coast), there are a variety of bars, cafes and restaurants providing drinks, tapas, meals and entertainment -plenty to offer for all tastes.
