ABOUT THE PROPERTY:

Casa Louisa is situated in the Albardeira / Meia Praia area of Lagos approx 15/20 mins walk from town. There is a small supermarket approx 200 mtrs and a large supermarket 10/15 mins walk. Meia Praia beach is just a 10/15 min walk via footpath.
The new apartment has been tastefully furnished to a high standard and is fully equipped with everything needed to make it your home from home during your stay.
Casa Louisa is a very spacious one bedroom apartment with additional double sofa bed in lounge. There is ample space for 2/4 people and adequate facilities for all guests. Satellite tv is provided (some U.K. channels) also DVD player and mini hifi/CD player.
All rooms lead out onto the large elevated terrace. Sun loungers/cushions and umbrella are provided for use on terrace, by the poolside and on communal roof terrace.
There is a jacuzzi spa bath for your relaxation.
Security video entrance.
The charming historic town of Lagos has something to offer everyone, with its picturesque, cobbled street, numerous restaurants, bars and shops, cosmopolitan Marina, Golf and many watersports. From the Marina you can take and Atlantic trip to see dolphins in their natural habitat, visit the grottos, go sea fishing or simply watch the world and expensive yachts go by. Lagos has an abundance of restuarants serving delicious cuisine ranging from traditional Portuguese to more exotic Eastern dishes. In the summer months street entertainers often perform in the town square and the firework displays are fantastic. A visit to the old slave market (1st in Europe) and the Church of Santo Antonio (Golden Church) are a must! Lagos zoo is approx 15 mins drive away.

10 mins drive to the new Autodoromo Internacional do Algarve for motor sports enthusuiasts.

Within 35/40 mins drive there are two water parks and Zoo Marine, the ocean theme park (swimming with dolphins can be arranged) Also Cape St. Vincent, the furthest point west in Europe.
Trains connect from Lagos with the high speed train to Lisbon for cultural breaks and the views from the Monchique mountains back to Lagos are not to be missed.
So whatever type of holiday you prefer, whether it's relaxing on the beach, birdwatching, golfing, watersports or walking, the Algarve has it all. With its mild winter climate and cooling breezes in the hot summer months it is the perfect year-round resort. White sandy beaches, crystal clear seas, friendly relaxed atmosphere, fresh fish in abundance and over 300 days of sunshine a year.

The spacious kitchen is well equipped having built in oven and hob, large fridge/freezer, washing machine, kettle, toaster, microwave, iron and ironing board. Table and chairs. Adequate selection of crockery, pans, cutlery and utensils. Plastic plates, cups etc for picnic/ pool. Cool bag.

CLEANING INFORMATION:

The apartment will be cleaned at end of stay.
Rubbish is to be placed frequently in the large council bins at the entrance to the site.
Please make sure you remove all rubbish at end of stay.

CHANGEOVER NOTES:

Changeover day - flexible.
Guests are requested to arrive after 4pm and depart by 9.30am unless by arrangement to allow for cleaning etc. between guests.

LINEN NOTES:

Bed linen and towels are provided for use in the apartment only not for pool or beach. Weekly change.

PET NOTES:

Sorry no pets.

BABY FACILITY:

High Chair/Travel cot can be provided by prior arrangement.

BOOKING NOTES:

A booking deposit of 100(non refundable) plus a security deposit 100 (refundable within 10 days of return) is required at time of booking.
Balance payable 8 weeks prior to departure.
Detailed map and directions will be forwarded on booking.
Payment to be made in pounds sterling (euros by arrangement) by cheque/bank transfer.
Winter lets (5 weeks or more) are available please contact for rates.
Welcome packs and airport pick ups can be arranged, payable locally.
Guests will be contacted and met by key holder on arrival.
Emergency contact in Lagos
There is a small extra charge for central heating in winter months.
