Mini-market, ATM cash machine, restaurants in Porto de Mós are all within a short walk. You can also walk into Lagos town centre, 20 mins (or 5 by car). Picturesque cobbled streets with white-washed buildings containing shops, restuarants, cosy cafes, banks, and the new modern Lagos marina. 18 hole championship golf courses, all within easy distance. Boavista, the closest, only 5 mins drive.

ABOUT THE PROPERTY:

THE AREA:
The nearest beach is Porto de Mós, which is less than 10 minutes walk away. The long sandy (Blue Flag) beach is suitable for families. It has two bars/restaurants and ample parking. Within the vicinity of Lagos there are a number of beaches and coves which typifies the Algarve.

Lagos is a lovely historic town with lots of character among its cobbled streets of whitewashed buildings. It is abundant with excellent restaurants serving local specialities, as well as international cuisine. The new modern marina offers a lovely contrast to the old town offering waterside dining and bars. There are two large international supermarkets within a few minutes drive and two mini-markets just a few minutes walk from the villa, one with an ATM machine.

GOLF:
Boavista is the closest, which is less than 5 minutes away. Within 20 mins drive from the villa, there are numerous excellent golf courses: Parque da Floresta, Palmares Golfe, Penina Golf & Resort, Alto Golf, Morgado & Alámos, Pinta Course, Garmacho Course. All the courses are maintained to a very high standard and cater for all standards of golfer. The Algarve is famed for it’s golf and has been voted “Established Golf Destination of the Year 2006” by the International Association of Golf Tour Operators (IAGTO).

TRAVEL:
The nearest airport is Faro. Faro to Lagos is a 50 minute drive along the new motorway. Trains run from Faro centre direct to Lagos. Transfer services from the airport to villa, or car hire are available and can be arranged. Majority of amenities are within walking distance of villa, so car hire is not essential. However, to explore and see more of this beautiful area a car is recommended.

CHANGE-OVER DAYS:
Flexible changeover days, e.g. Tuesday-Tuesday.

LINEN/MAID SERVICE:
Bed linen and towels are included (not beach towels). Linen/towels changed weekly.

BOOKING:
20% deposit is required to confirm booking.
Full balance payable 6 weeks prior to departure date. A security deposit of £150 is payable with the balance. This will be refunded within 14 days of return subject to any damage costs.
