The seafront at Amroth is just two miles from Llanteglos and is a pleasant walk for the energetic through attractive woodland with fine sea and country views along the way. From Amroth you can take coastal hiking paths in either direction, along the 186 mile Pembrokeshire National Park Coastal Trail heading in the direction of Saundersfoot and Tenby, or the Carmarthen Bay Coastal Trail from the other end of Amroth heading into Carmarthenshire. Tenby is 9 miles away, and Saundersfoot 4. Oakwood, the largest theme park in Wales, is also within easy reach as is Folly Farm, another popular family attraction.
